LEE MCINTYRE WORKSHOP…. the maddest 72 hours of my life… Product created !!
ByOne of my goals this year was to go attend an Internet Marketing seminar in the UK and on Wednesday night spotted that Lee Mcintyre had an event on soon but really couldn’t find any definite info about the details, I submitted a support ticket on his site and that was that… thought…. my usual luck.. Heard about it too late…. This always seems to happen. Anybody know where there is a list of decent IM Events in UK?? Not me..
The week had been pretty normal in the office.. Working like crazy on my ecommerce businesses and a few other projects we have going on. (planning to post to this blog every day, but the day to day business is taking too much of my time… as usual) ended in the maddest 3 days ever, I had a extremely exciting meeting booked for Thursday afternoon with a new Etailer in the UK called www.pricelover.com, I’ve been advising them prelaunch on SEO strategies and I was asked to go over to their “swanky” head offices..NOT…they are launching from a home office in one of the directors houses. The directors have done this twice before and built the businesses into hugely successful companies and each time sold them on for crazy money. So had a great meeting and they went live soon after I left … Please take a look around their site, if you’re a components junkie and you live in the UK… trust me !!
On my way back home from my meeting with Pricelover.com and to be fair I was buzzing with everything we had done that afternoon but at the same time id been fighting off a slight hangover from the night before (I really should drink water when I’m working late… but had a couple of JD and cokes.. only 2.. honest!!) and was looking forward to getting home and getting 2 hours down time before the family came home.
Then my phone pinged…and I had an email.
“Thanks for getting in touch.”
“The event is taking place tomorrow 8.30 am to 6pm and Saturday ……”

TOMORROW !!!! Blimey.…. They had 1 place left… someone had fallen out that morning through sickness. By this point I’m nearly home and was straight on the web and tried to check Lee Mcintyre out more and more.. all I could find was positive comments.. saw that Dan Briffa, Dean Holland & Keith Purkiss (All Alex Jeffrey students) had attended his previous workshop and these are guys that I really admire for what they have achieved in such a short term.(Great to meet you guys. briefly.. I’m certain we will meet up soon).
Lee’s generating $130k per month… YEP i did just say $130k… and planning to hit $200k by the end of the year, could I learn something from him…. Absolute No Brainer… got my stuff together booked the hotel etc..and jumped in the car.. nearly 4 hours later (My satnav freaked out in Manchester town centre and road works were a nightmare) I finally hit the hotel (bar… ) at 11Pm
I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a long post.. what can I do???
The first night I met many Internet Marketers, from those just starting out to those that were extremely successful like Rob Benwell (Blogging to the Bank) and many others like Anthony Askew, Harry Spencer, Chris Freville, James Dyson who are doing very well from Internet Marketing in varies different areas an levels. Amazing to finally chat with like minded people who are going through the same steep learning curve and to hear what they have been through to achieve their various successes.
First morning at the workshop Lee kicked off with the “7 Rules of Momentum”… I was BLOWN AWAY.. in literally the first hour I was hooked… I like to think I’m pretty switched on when it comes to judging people pretty early on…. Lee broke everything down so clearly and concisely, it was like getting slapped in the face.. BOSH.. Richard sort yourself out.. “stop looking for excuses and accept your results “. We then had a small break and went into session 2 which again was like BOSH BOSH BOSH… It felt like my brain had been stabbed with a cattle prod – in a good way !!!
So.. I’m desperate for the gents on the first lunch break.. in the restroom I see 2 guys that id seen on the web literally a few days before discussing a new project they are launching very soon Daniel Wagner & James Watson from www.yourinternetbuddies.com, but to be fair I didn’t really know them, id just spotted them 2-3 days before online whilst I was spending far too much time surfing around other peoples blogs. We got chatting and in literally 5 minutes Daniel said “I Should interview you… you have a great story”…. WHAT .. are you Insane!!!!.. I laughed and said yea yea.. that’s cool.. my initial reaction was this guys nuts.. you want to interview me!!!…then he comes back with I’ve interviewed many successful Internet markers all over the world like Mike Filsaime, Armand Morin & Greg Cesar and I’m speaking with Armand Morin at an event next month in the US… Stress kicked straight in !!!!……are you insane I thought… I’m just telling you that I’m just starting out in the IM field.
We went back in for the afternoon session really chuffed id met Daniel and James and ready for the next “Hit” of content from Lee, which was how to get a product to market quickly, and one of the quickest methods that Lee ran through was to do an INTERVIEW, after an hour of Lee’s just incredibly focused content my mind was on fire… James and Daniel said they would interview me and Lee’s telling ME that interviewing is so powerful. CRAP.. what do I do ??. … I’m telling myself its all about action.. but I’m still doubting myself……… The session ended and Daniel came over to me and said “ we can do this directly after the last session” and I just said….. OK,, lets do it. For the next session my minds all over the place.. What the heck am I going to say. at the end of the day.. I just have to do my best and do it, with Lee’s powerful content I knew I just had to take action and see what the end result would be.
I’m going to try to rap this up a little as I appreciate its getting to be more like an essay… I will come back and add to this much more…
Lee gave us permission to use his film crew to video an intro video, then we went back to their room where they interviewed me, whilst being interviewed James had created the whole site from scratch, with squeeze page, autoresponder, download page, the whole job lot. Literally within 3 hours from start to finish we had created a product from nothing and it was fully working… OMG. How powerful was that…. THEY CREATED A PRODUCT IN 3 HOURS . They literally sat me down for 2 minutes and gave me a few bullet points to work from and they switched the Mic on. It was weird, once I started I wasn’t too bothered… looking back I wished I had much more time to prepare better content (no going back now)… but would I of EVER got around to it …???
Really would appreciate some feedback on the whole product, of course its for free and I do believe there’s some good content in there I apologies for my lack of professionalism.

Don’t laugh too much at the “Squeeze Page” … SEO Expert….. LOL.. I just told it as it was…My version I think will be a little more ME.. I’m not sure which way to go with that. Some of projects were working on and some of the techniques we use I talk about, to me just normal basic content, don’t be too harsh.
I will add it to my own domain and my blog very soon, but its Sunday and I really do need to spend some time with my family.. I promised my little boy that when I got back id buy him a Lego motorbike… only if he was good..so I must go..
Lee’s closing points were to set a challenge to the audience, the person that launched a site with a back end product that sells for $97 dollars and actually makes a genuine sale will win and win big time…. There were many great guys there and I wish them all the success in the world, in fact in my eyes there were many superstars in that audience, its going to be down to action and some help from each other to move it all forward, so many great products are going to come fromout of that room.
If I was to add a back end product what could I offer?? where I can offer maximum content and value that I can actually deliver in a realistic time frame. My writing skills I know are a little crappy and it’s taken me almost 3 hours to write this. I think if I offer anything it will have to be in some form of audio, video, webinar.. What content would you like? What content do you feel I can offer?
I feel I should stress that whilst I was at the workshop I have unsubscribed to most of the other marketers out there right now, while I focus my attention to learn from Lee McIntyre,………..how the heck am I suppose to focus on my day job now.. thanks Lee!!!!…. truly life changing content. Thank you Lee… and JAMES of course … for replying to my support ticket and for your fantastic event… Thank you James.

Really gutted I missed the workshop, sounds like you got some great networking done there with some recognisable names, not to mention the opportunity to produce your own product in double quick time!
I’ll be sure that I check out Lee’s next one as I have heard nothing but good things.

It really has hammered home the whole “Take Action”, seriously looking at offering a webinar moving forward but need some help on exactly how it all will fit together and what the heck should I talk about, but the whole seminar experience has really made be believe that I can do it. !!!
