OOppps….Well…. It’s been just crazy busy here since I last made a post way back in August, how time flies, every week intending to blog about what I’m up to…. This will change as of NOW… I’m back !!

The past 4 months have been taken up with so many projects that I’m involved with mainly away from the IM. Most my time in taken up running several ecommerce sites in the UK, so the run up to xmas is always a vital part of the year. However this year I came to the realisation that it’s time for me to change the business model completely over the next few months and move away from having a warehouse full of stock and focus more on drop shipping the lines that are profitable and moving away from the lower margin products. (For far too many years now.. all my cash has been tied up in a warehouse with stock….no more!!) Leaving much more time to focus on my new search marketing business, and of course my Internet Marketing business.

When I first set this blog up I posted about my targets, moving forward my focus will be very much to continue to focus on my initial target of $500 a day passive income from affiliate commissions… although I may not have been very active on my blog I have still been promoting various products and building several niche sites generating a small but more importantly regular income and list.

Action plan for 2010

Business Goals

Establish my Search Marketing Company into a 6 figure business by 30th April.

Switch from 80% ecommerce & 20% IM/Consulting to 80% IM/consulting & 20% ecommerce

To rank this site on page 1 Google for many key terms, including my name “Richard Hill”.

Move from my current warehouse based ecommerce premises into a solely office based environment. (NO Warehouse and NO stock)

Network more, building long term relationships for future JV opportunities.
(Need to switch my Skype on more!!!!)

Build my list of subscribers from its current 1082 to 10,000, initially focussing on Adswaps and SEO.

To blog at least twice a month (Minimum), adding real value and sharing good quality content to my readers.. I’ve been far to lazy here !!!!!!!!!

Be earning $500 a day as per my original post by August 2010 and by the end of the year $25,000 per month from a combination of affiliate commissions and consulting work.

Entrepreneurial Goals

Host a series of search engine marketing seminars for local business.

Attend at least 4 seminar/events.

Say “yes” more to opportunities and stop being “afraid” of what might happen… just do it!

Personal Goals

To be in a position to work only 4 days a week.

Single handicap at golf… any one fancy a game ?? Get in touch.

Lose some weight, official weight on the Wii fit on new years day 17st 3lb.. Holy crap !!!!… Target weight 15st. 8lb. (This will be the hardest of all of the above.. but I have a plan.. starts with just signing up for the Lincoln 10k run… which is in 7 weeks.. went out running for the first time in years a couple of days ago… did just over ½ a mile and thought my lungs were going to explode !!!!)

My goals are much the same as they were 6 months ago when I started this blog, although my mind is much clearer on how I’m going to achieve many of them and the majority of “excuses” I’ve had over the last few months for not focussing on my IM/Consulting work are finally being ironed out.
